Omar Apollo’s latest is a ballad of unrequited love, “Trouble” is a soulful monologue to a lost lover. The song features a melodic intro hanging low on the staff, heavy hearted but hopeful. Apollo’s clean production and deft composition shine in this track. Airy vocal swells and flourishes combine with a few rap ad-libs in his soulful style.
Apollo, shows no signs of slowing down his musical career, now living in Los Angeles. Being the first-gen son of Mexican parents, Apollo is driven by the idea that his musical career path can support his passion and reciprocate his parents’ sacrifices and support for him to have a better life.
