Premiere • Logan Cage: "Who The F***?"
Directed by J Krown // Photos by Christopher Tejeda
Our good friend Logan Cage may have gone and added to his name this year, but nothing about his work ethic has changed. Straight from the jump, Logan has kept his ambitious circle tight, and that circle hasn't changed much over the years. His latest single and video is yet another product of this tried and true team dynamic. With Logan on the vocals, Flight on production, J Krown behind the lens and Chris Tejeda shooting photos, there is just no need to try and fix a combination that is clearly working so well.
Logan has been talking about his next project for months, and every time I see him I feel like I hear that the tape is near completion, but it's changed since we last spoke. Like any perfectionist or passionate creative, Logan wants his follow up to 1636 and sophomore release to be a memorable experience. Something that you can't resist listening to over and over again. In pursuit of his ideal project, Logan has been making a ton of new music. For those gems that didn't make the album cut, instead of letting them hit the cutting room floor, Logan has been gracious enough to share these works with his fans to hold them over until the main course is hopefully released later this summer.
In today's release, produced by none other than Logan's right hand man Flight, Logan questions who's gassing these wack rappers up and telling them they're hot?! It's really an epidemic lately and someone needs to be held accountable. Whether he's kicking it with squad, out in front of the Logan Theater, or spitting verses at the now defunct Bridgeport staple Dox Grill, the question remains the same, "who the f***?"
Catch Logan performing live tomorrow night at Reggies as part of the stacked Supa Bwe & Friends lineup. Tickets are still available online and I highly recommend not waiting to cop at the door, this event is sure to sell out. Stay tuned for more Logan news and releases in the near future.
