Yung Lean (Ft. ManeMane4CGG) • "Sippin"
Directed by @LVTRTOINNE
Sweden and Chicago, not the sunniest places around. However, despite Yung Lean's cloud-rap trappings and Sad-Boy moniker, the Scandinavian rapper has never failed to surprise with some bright music, here and there. He's demonstrated this before, teaming up with Glo-Gang member Ballout in the past for their shimmering track "Wanna Smoke", and now he's joined forces with ManeMane4CGG for their new video, "Sippin".
Filmed in Chicago while Yung Lean was in town performing at the Concord for his recent tour, they made a pit-stop at the Damen Silos for their visual. The track marks great progress from ManeMane4CGG, who drops his usual stuttered rapping style for a surprisingly smooth verse. While I enjoy his usual manner of flow, it's great to see a performer successfully switch it up. Don't be surprised if this becomes one of ManeMane's biggest track's to date; Yung Lean is a huge feature to scoop and the song bumps.
