The Boy Illinois • "Day Goes"
Directed by Jay Mavaz
If there's one thing that I know about The Boy Illinois it's that he has many talents and dresses pretty slickly. The fact that he can rap to match the rest seems like the cherry on top. With this new visual set, we get a peek inside yet another layer of The Boy Illinois with this elaborate tap dance routine alongside Djedi; the piece serves as his video for the single "Day Goes" off his critically-acclaimed Dusable project.
He puts it all together here on a spirited beginning to 2016 that finds him starting to hit a nice groove after being named one of Rolling Out's '5 Rappers to Watch' and touring alongside Lupe Fiasco. Like what you see? Catch him at our show Saturday night with Kirk Knight, Hurt Everybody, Alex Wiley, and more. For now, hit the video up top.
