Hurt Everybody • 24EP
We just enjoyed summer's last stand, aka North Coast Music Festival, this past weekend, but back on June 1st when summer was just getting started, Hurt Everybody and Mishka embarked on a 24 hour music making marathon that resulted in this 5 track EP. From midnight to midnight, Supa, Carl, Mulatto and a room full of friends and affiliates took part in creating an ambiance conducive to the creative spirit. In layman's terms, Hurt Everybody Studios had no shortage of substances and snacks to get the group through this journey.
From emotional ballads to turn up tracks, the 24EP embodies the full range of who Hurt Everybody is as a group. Supa Bwe belts out catchy phrases, Carl issues out complex verses, and both contribute to the project's production alongside Mulatto Beats. In addition to the audio component, Yak of Yakub Films was on hand to film the project's inception from start to finish and give Hurt Everybody fans a unique in-studio experience with one of Chicago's rising talents.
