Chance's Social Function Productions To Produce Special Olympics 50th Anniversary Celebration Concert

Twitter buzzed Thursday with recent news that Chance will be producing the Special Olympics 50th anniversary celebration concert, along with his new production company Social Function Productions (SFP).

The Special Olympics movement first originated from the International Summer Games that were held in 1968, here in Chicago. Five decades later, they return to the city to celebrate their 50th Anniversary - and who better to collaborate with other than Chance in producing the celebration concert.

There’s no doubt that he and his team will execute the show in style, as they have before with similar projects like Magnificent Coloring Day. The lineup for this concert includes Smokey Robinson, Jason Mraz, O.A.R, and Special Guests listed. Yet the Flyer for the concert does not reveal four other artists/performers, leaving fans wondering who else Chance and SFP will announce as performers in the near future.

The celebration concert will take place at Northerly Island next month on July 21st. Its safe to say that Chance has something spectacular planned for this partnership, and we'll all eagerly wait to see how this concert continues to be unveiled.
