King Louie: "How We Settle That"
Directed by Cole Bennett
King L has all but ascended the throne of 'Drill King' and in the process learned how to take care of certain things. On the visual for his latest single, he explains to us all, "How We Settle That" in a track off his upcoming and highly-anticipated Tony 2. This one comes especially packaged from the scene as well with Cole Bennett continuing to build out an increasingly impressive portfolio of visual work and here teams up with Louie to watch the throne get tatted in the visual which hit the streets via World Star.
Playing off the aesthetics of his last video in a way, Bennett creates a sort of multi-dimensional world from which he plays with the characters. Here, we find Louie in a sort of understated black and white motif while juxtaposed against a frenetic rainbow that comes together to make it one of the more interesting visual pieces we've seen from dude, despite the lack of storyline or movement really, shit is really Louie getting a tattoo. It's been dope to see King L take things directly to the local scene when setting the budget for his videos and this marks the second time in a month that he's tapped a young gunner to take the reigns after Brooklyn Wheeler handled the video for "You Love The Bitch". Dude's investing back in those around him and getting some dope videos in the process, check this one out above.
