Alex Wiley (Ft. Calez & Chance The Rapper) • "Navigator Truck"
Following his split from former label Closed Sessions, we were left uncertain about what was next for Alex Wiley. Would the previously announced projects still be released? Would Alex's move to the west coast influence the direction of his career? And most importantly, when is new music coming out?! Since then, Wiley has been good about keeping fans at bay with a string of seemingly random releases. We found out recently though that most of those releases ("Heaven's Gate", "Japanese", and "For Sunny" to be exact), would be featured on Village Party II: Heaven's Gate, Wiley's first full length project since the original Village Party in summer 2014.
With news of the forthcoming Village Party II: Heaven's Gate, Alex Wiley has at least one more preview before the album drops. "Navigator Truck" featuring fellow Village member Calez and Chance The Rapper has been my favorite of the recent Alex Wiley releases, and has the potential to be one of the project's stand out singles. Good to see Calez back in the mix as well! It's been a while since we've heard new music from that guy, but he appears to have a handful of credits on Village Party II, so be prepared to get reacquainted. In addition to Calez, the album's features include Chance The Rapper, Emil, Hippie Sabotage, Twista and more.
Once you pre-order Village Party II via the link above, whip with Alex Wiley and friends in "Navigator Truck" while we wait for the rest of the album to make its digital debut November 20th.
